I just returned from the hospital and feelin’ a bit better by now. Thanks for your concern! Back to Annie:
Anne Hathaway is looking for love - but refuses to date a fellow actor. The Get Smart star split from Raffaello Follieri in June, shortly before he was arrested on suspicion of unscrupulous business dealings. And while Hathaway admits she is ready for a new relationship, she has ruled out dating a co-star. She says, “I try not to date where I work. It makes life easier. Besides, the possibility has never really arisen. “I don’t say no to anybody, because I’d hope that people wouldn’t say no to me because I’m an actor - but they’d have to be a pretty extraordinary.”
I’m putting this site on a little hiatus. I have to check into a hospital for the next 3 weeks and won’t be able to update this site. Don’t worry, we’re back real soon to offer you the latest on our favourite girl!
Big Hollywood studios will take a back seat at this year’s Venice Film Festival, with the competition lineup highlighting independent U.S. cinema, Italian productions and Japanese animation movies. Last year, U.S. and British movies dominated the lineup, with nearly half of the films in the main competition. This year, only five English-language movies will vie for the top prize at the world’s oldest film festival. It opens August 27. Among them is Jonathan Demme’s “Rachel Getting Married,” starring Anne Hathaway and Debra Winger in the story of an ex-model returning home for her sister’s wedding after spending 10 years in and out of rehabilitation centers. The other U.S. films in the main contest are “The Burning Plain,” a family drama with Kim Basinger and Charlize Theron, and “The Wrestler,” with Mickey Rourke in the lead role.
